Lara Harries is a seasoned immigration consultant and founder of North Trek Immigration, with over 25 years of experience in immigration, recruitment, and integration. Specializing in helping applicants navigate the complexities of immigrating to Canada, Lara provides tailored solutions for individuals in high-demand workforce sectors.
Originally from South Africa, Lara has lived in rural communities across Newfoundland, Manitoba, and Alberta, offering her a personal understanding of the challenges faced by newcomers. Her passion for diversity and inclusion drives her commitment to supporting individuals across both rural and urban Canada.
With more than 15 years of experience in physician recruitment and a background in working with Canada's largest healthcare organizations, Lara is also highly skilled in credential verification, licensing, and regulatory requirements for internationally trained healthcare professionals.
Having personally navigated the immigration process, Lara brings compassion and a deep sense of empathy to her work. She is dedicated to ensuring that each client’s transition to Canadian life is as seamless as possible, helping them find a true sense of belonging.
