Visitor information

Canada welcomes millions of people every year to enjoy the beauty and diversity this country offers. Before you make your journey to visit Canada, make sure if you need a visa to enter Canada and if you meet all the requirements to be a visitor.

tourist and visitor visa

A tourist visa is simply what it says. You come to Canada as a tourist to visit and enjoy the

beautiful places and sceneries Canada offers from the East to the West Coast. North Trek

Immigration will guide you with visa requirements, and we can do your

application to ensure you don’t encounter any unnecessary delays.


Requirements for a Visitor Visa


  1. Valid travel document (passport)
  2. Proof of strong ties to your country of residence
  3. Proof of sufficient funds throughout your stay on Canada
  4. Good Health and a Medical exam may be required
  5. A letter of invitation may be required
  6. If applicable – Temporary resident visa


Visitors visas are now issued with multiple entries and for up to 10 years.

Super Visa

A Super Visa is for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents that will allow parent and grandparents to visit their family for longer periods. North Trek Immigration will assess to see if this is the right option for you.


Requirements for a Super Visa


  1. Valid travel document (passport)
  2. Proof of strong ties to your country of residence
  3. Proof of sufficient funds throughout your stay on Canada
  4. Medical exam
  5. Canadian medical insurance for at least one year
  6. A letter of invitation from your child/grandchild
  7. Proof of income from your child/grandchild
  8. Written financial agreement from your child/grandchild


You can spend up to two years with your family in Canada without the need to renew your status.
